Terms of use
Effective 30 July 2026.
These terms describe actual practice. They have not been reviewed by an attorney and are not legal advice. They should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before this site accepts live traffic.
1. What this service is
Black Hills Floor Coatings is an independent advertising, marketing and quote-request service. It publishes information about garage-floor coatings and passes estimate requests to one independent local provider.
It is not a contractor. It does not perform concrete preparation, repair or coating work, does not employ installers, and does not hold contractor licences or trade certifications.
2. No contractor relationship is created here
Submitting a request does not create a contract for work.
Any agreement for work is made directly between you and the independent provider. That agreement — its price, scope, schedule, materials, warranty and terms — is between the two of you. This site is not a party to it.
3. What the provider is responsible for
The independent provider is solely responsible for:
- Their licensing, insurance, registration and legal compliance
- Assessing your floor and specifying the work
- Pricing, quoting and invoicing
- Scheduling and completing the work
- Materials and workmanship
- Any warranty they offer, and honouring it
- Safety on site, including dust control and worker protection
- Handling your information once they receive it
4. What this site does not guarantee
No guarantee is made regarding:
- Any price, price range, or that any estimate will be honoured
- Availability, response time, or that any provider will contact you
- The scheduling or completion of any work
- The durability, appearance or performance of any coating
- The licensing, insurance, qualifications, workmanship or conduct of any provider
- That any provider is the best, cheapest or most suitable choice for you
Verify a contractor's licensing and insurance yourself, directly with them and with the relevant authority, before entering an agreement or paying a deposit. That is sound practice regardless of how you found them.
5. Information on this site is general
Content here is general information about garage-floor coating systems, concrete preparation and regional conditions. It is not a specification, an assessment, or professional advice about your floor.
Material factual claims are attributed to identified sources. Those sources describe products under stated test conditions, or regional conditions generally. They do not describe your floor. Concrete condition, moisture, contamination, ground movement and appropriate system selection can only be established by someone assessing the specific slab.
Do not rely on this site in place of an on-site assessment.
6. Your responsibilities
When submitting a request you agree to:
- Provide accurate information, including a real project address
- Submit only for a project you own or are authorised to arrange work for
- Not submit false, automated or abusive requests
- Not use this site to advertise, scrape or solicit
Requests may be declined or removed where these are not met.
7. Service area
Requests are accepted for projects in Pennington, Lawrence and Custer Counties, South Dakota.
ZIP codes cross county lines, so ZIP is used as an approximate filter only and the project address is confirmed before a project is treated as in-territory. Requests outside the territory are declined rather than collected.
8. Availability
This site is provided as-is. No guarantee is made that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. It may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time.
9. Content ownership
Text and design on this site belong to the site operator. Manufacturer and government material referenced in citations belongs to those organisations and is cited, not reproduced wholesale.
Any decorative imagery is illustrative and does not depict local projects or work performed by anyone associated with this site.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for any loss arising from:
- Your use of, or reliance on, information published here
- Any dealing, agreement, dispute, work or payment between you and a provider
- Any act or omission by a provider
- Unavailability of this site or the estimate-request service
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
